| This piece began as an experiment of integrating stone and glass together. The subject of the ammonite seemed ideal to represent the inter-relationship between the fossil and the rock since the fossil is present in a form other than the surrounding material (the stone). Two views show the effects of different lighting. I sculpted this piece in 1990 Private Collection |
